The biggest feature of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is its mileage. The company claims that mileage of 27.97 kmpl can be found on the 2022 Grand Vitara. This is the highest not only in this segment but also among petrol vehicles across the country. However, this mileage is only for the strong hybrid variant.

The mileage of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara mild-hybrid variant depends on its gearbox type. Its manual 2WD variant will give a mileage of 21.11 kmpl. Whereas the automatic 2WD variant will give a mileage of 20.58 kmpl. The lowest mileage will be available on the MT AWD variant with AllGrip with 19.38 kmpl mileage.

The Maruti Grand Vitara mild hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 103 PS/137 Nm. At the same time, its strong hybrid has been given a 1.5-litre electric-hybrid engine, which generates power of 115 PS and peak torque of 141 Nm.

The stronger variant of the Grand Vitara gets a lithium-ion battery pack and only comes with the eCVT gearbox. On the other hand, the mild hybrid gets 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options. The eCVT gearbox also gets a B mode for a longer battery range and recovery. The mild hybrid, on the other hand, gets AWD with Suzuki AllGrip technology and a drive selector mode for off-roading.

Boot Space of Maruti Grand Vitara

The Strong Hybrid variant of the Maruti Grand Vitara comes with a lithium-ion battery pack. It is set up in the boot of the car. In such a situation, Maruti Suzuki has used a separator to increase the boot space in the strong hybrid variant. On the other hand, the Mild Hybrid variant gets a regular boot with a spare wheel.
