Tata Motors is about to launch 5 new electric vehicles by the end of the year 2025. The new generation EVs from the brand will be built on an updated version of the existing platform for bigger battery packs. With this, the company will launch 3 new electric vehicles in the next 2 years. Two of these will be electric versions of its current model. The company will launch electrified versions of the Tata Altroz ​​and Punch Compact SUV. Apart from this, the company will launch an electric SUV Coupe based on the new Curve concept in 2024.

The company will bring Tata Punch EV and Tata Altroz ​​EV

Tata Punch EV and Tata Altroz ​​EV are expected to be launched in 2023. Like the Nexon EV, both models are expected to feature battery packs equipped with Tata’s Ziptron powertrain technology. Both these electric models will have a range of more than 300 kms. Apart from this, the Tata Curvv-based EV will be offered a 40kWh battery pack, which will come with a range of up to 500km.

Tata Sierra and Avinya EV will also be launched

Tata Motors is also building the Sierra electric vehicle, which will be built on the Sigma architecture. Tata showcased the Sierra EV concept at the 2020 Auto Expo. Apart from this, the company also introduced the Avinya EV concept some time back. Avinya EV will be launched in 2025.

Tata Tiago EV was recently launched

Tata Motors recently launched the new Tiago EV. It is the most economical passenger electric car in the country. To put it simply, it is the electric version of the petrol-Tiago. The price of the new model is between Rs 8.49 lakh and Rs 11.79 lakh. It is offered with two battery packs – 19.2kWh and 24kWh.
