Toyota Glanza CNG: Maruti Baleno CNG has been launched in India. Along the lines of this, Toyota is also preparing to launch a CNG version of the Glanza. According to reports, select dealerships across the country have started taking offline bookings for the Toyota Glanza CNG. In such a situation, it is believed that the company can soon launch a new CNG version of Glanza in the Indian market.
The Glanza CNG will be the first Toyota car to be offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit in the country. According to the reports, the CNG-fitted Glanza will be offered in 3 variant options S, G, and V. Whereas Baleno CNG is available in two variants – Delta MT and Zeta MT.
Features of Toyota Glanza CNG
The top variants of Toyota Glanza get features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology with 40+ features, automatic AC, HUD, cruise control, and keyless entry with push button start. This variant comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, and a hill start assist feature. The Toyota Glanza CNG is also expected to get the same features.
Powertrain of Toyota Glanza CNG
The Toyota Glanza CNG could be offered with a factory-fitted 1.2-liter petrol engine like the Baleno. Its engine in CNG mode generates power of 77.49PS at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 98.5Nm at 4,300rpm. It will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Like the Baleno CNG, the Toyota Glanza CNG will have a mileage of 30.61 km/kg.
Toyota Glanza CNG Price
Baleno CNG is available in two variants Delta and Zeta. The price of Baleno Delta CNG is Rs 8.28 lakh and the price of Zeta CNG is Rs 9.21 lakh. These prices are around Rs 96,000 more than the petrol models of Delta and Zeta. Similarly, the price of the new Glanza CNG is also expected to be around Rs 95,000 more than its petrol variant. Let us tell you that except for the base Glanza E variant, all variants of Glanza will come with a CNG kit.
