WhatsApp announced the Call Links feature earlier this week. Now it has been rolled out to some beta testers. The calling link feature of the popular instant messaging app will allow users to create a link for the call and share it with other WhatsApp users. A WhatsApp group call can easily be made through this link. This new feature has been brought with Android v 126.96.36.199.
Currently, beta users are able to use it. However, for this, they should have the latest version of WhatsApp beta. In the coming time, it will be brought to all users. Let us know that this feature is already available on video calling apps like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. Come, let’s know how we will be able to use it.
WhatsApp Call Links Feature
According to WABetainfo, which has been keeping an eye on the upcoming feature of WhatsApp, WhatsApp is rolling out the Call Links feature on the beta for the Android 188.8.131.52 update. With the help of this, now the user will be able to join everyone’s call with one click. This is for both video and audio calls.
Now for group video or voice calls, the user does not need to add everyone to the call one by one. They can simply create a link and share it with the rest of their peers. By clicking on that link everyone will automatically join the call.
