In 2022, she emerged as the title winner of the inaugural Bigg Boss Non-Stop and became the first female winner of the Bigg Boss Telugu franchise

Bindu Madhavi was born on 14 June 1986 in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh.[6] Her father was a deputy commissioner in the commercial tax department, due to which, her family moved to various places including Tirupati, Nellore, Guntur, Tenali, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad, before settling in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where she did her studies.
She completed her degree in Biotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology. She has stated that she plans to pursue a Master’s in Biotechnology abroad and land a job in the field later.[8] Madhavi also had one brother, Sagar, who died in 2012.
Bindu started off her professional career with modeling while she was in college. In addition, Bindu stated that she had a strong desire to join the acting profession but her family was very strict. Bindu did several modeling assignments during the initial days and featured in the tv commercials of the noted brands including Tata Gold Tanishq. In 2008, Bindu bagged the lead role of Laxmi in the Telugu film Avakai Biryani.
In 2009, she did Tamil debut with the film Pokkisham and played the role of Anjali along with Cheran. Following that, she made an appearance in the films like Bumper Offer, Om Shanthi, and Rama Rama Krishna Krishana. From 2011 to 2016, Actress gave an outstanding performance in the films Pilla Zamindar, Kazhugu, Sattam Oru Iruttarai, Desingu Raja, Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum, and Savaale Samaali.
In 2018-19, Bindu Madhavu did acting in the Tamil films Pakka and Kazhugu 2. Moreover, she is a part of the new Tamil movies Mayan and Yaarukum Anjael. Actress Bindu Madhavi made her appearance in the daily soap opera Magal from 2007 to 2012. In 2017, Actress Bindu Madhavi became a part of the famous Tamil language reality shows Bigg Boss 2017. She entered the BB house on the 35th day and ended up in fifth place.
In 2020, Bindu featured in the romantic mini-TV series ‘Masti’s.’ She played the role of Gauri along with stars Siddharth Gollapudi, Chandini Chowdary, and Hebah Patel.
