She did her schooling at South Point High School, Kolkata, and completed her graduation at Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata. She is a post-graduate in psychology. After she wanted to pursue acting and modeling as a career she joined Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Los Angeles.
