Shamitha Shreekumar Career
Shamitha started her acting career in 2001 with the Tamil movie Pandvar Bhommi and popular by her character of Jeeva. The film received very good responses from the audience and later she got the second prize award in the 2001 Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Tamil film. Despite her getting so much appraisement, she didn’t get any other to work in the films.
So, Shamitha was not able to receive further opportunities to act in films and eventually started to act in television serials in the late 2000s. She made her television serial debut through Sun TV, where she played the lead role Sakthi alongside Shreekumar in the 2008 mystery TV series Sivasakthi.[
In 2010, she was seen in the lead role of Nandhini in Sun TV’s show Vasantham. She subsequently appeared in Pillai Nila as Kokila, Puguntha Veedu as Radha, Thirumagal as Aishwarya and Ponnunjal as Nandhini.
