In 2002, she played the main lead role as Nikita Malhorta in the thriller television show, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat on Sony TV. Her most notable role was in the Indian soap, Kehta Hai Dil, where she replaced Kamya Punjabi in essaying the role of Karishma. In 2006, she bagged the role of Vaidehi in the Hindi television series, Vaidehi on Sony TV.
The actress took a hiatus from her acting career for the whole seven years to enjoy her married life. She came back and donned the role of Ragini Patel in the Balaji Telefilms’ Hindi soap, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar on Sony TV, opposite Ronit Roy. Pallavi also acted on the big screen; she was seen as Shilpa in the Hindi romance action film, Arjun Pandit in 1999. She also appeared as Anu, sister of ACP Abhay Pratap Singh (played by Bobby Deol) in the Bollywood film, Kranti in 2002.
